Wine Story
2022 Maison Riche Cabernet Franc is from the Limoux region of southern France, which lies on the Aude River, roughly 30 km (19 mi) due south of Carcassonne. This wine is 100% Cabernet Franc, the parent grape of both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It features an elegant nose of candied fruits, a fairly complex mouthfeel, robust tannins, medium acidity, and a well-balanced finish.
Tasting Notes
Red plum and candied fruits on the nose, a medium-bodied palate featuring bell pepper and strawberry, and a complex, lingering finish.
Enjoy as a great complement to fatty, grilled steaks or chops, deep-dish pizzas, cheese and charcuterie boards, or spiced curry dishes.
