Wine Story
2018 Chevalier du Grand Robert Bordeaux is a perfect expression of Entre-Deux-Mers terroir, which is the largest sub-region of Bordeaux. Harvested from a vineyard at the junction of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, this wine was produced using the traditional method, a three-week maceration, and aged in stainless tanks for one year to refine the tannins.
Tasting Notes
Black currant and ripe cherry with hints of dried herbs on the nose, intense, red fruits on a supple, medium-bodied palate, and a lightly-tannic finish.
Pairings
Enjoy with herb-crusted, bone-in chicken, grilled pork chops or beef burgers, zesty tomato-based sauces over pasta, or creamy mac-and-cheese.
